Schedule of Fees

Fees may be paid by cheque to Tyndale College, or Visa, Bankcard, or Mastercard

Student Enrolment Fee (required of all new students): $90 (non-refundable)
Application for exemption from a Subject Unit: $45 per Subject Unit applied for
Supplementary work in a Subject Unit (to qualify for an exemption): see page 37.
Standard Subject Unit fees:
Preliminary and Level One Units: (including $40 examination fee): $335
Level Two Subject Units: (including $45 examination fee): $380
Level Three Subject Units: (including $50 examination fee): $425
If a student finds it a hardship to pay these Standard Subject Fees, they may elect to pay at Concession Rate, and deduct $50 per subject from these Fees.
(If husband & wife request one set of tapes/CDs between them, deduct $30 from one fee.)
Fee for a Half Subject Unit (e.g. 131A): $225
Remarking of an exercise or assignment: $45
Resubmission of a failed exercise or assignment: $45
Remarking of an examination paper: the examination fee (as above)
Transfer of enrolment to a subsequent semester (per Subject Unit): $180
Re-enrolling in a Subject Unit after failing: $180 (plus examination fee, as above)
Residential Conference fees: fee (as above) for that unit level (191, 291, or 391)
Enrolment, Central School of Religion, London (after three units passed): £20 stg
Graduation fee, Central School of Religion, London: £50 stg
Graduation fee, Tyndale College: $180

Overseas Surcharge: Students resident in a country other than Australia will be required to pay a surcharge to cover airmail postage, bank charges on foreign currency payments, and any other additional costs. The amount of this surcharge will be decided on a case-by-case cost-recovery basis.
The Student Enrolment Fee is payable upon initial enrolment as a registered student of Tyndale College, and is non-refundable. Fees for the Subject Units chosen for a Semester are payable at the beginning of that Semester. The fees for a Unit are not refundable after the material for that Unit has been forwarded to the student.

LATE FEES (Honour system: the student is on their honour to pay Fees due)
Late enrolment for a semester (after the date of commencement of the Course),
per Unit, per week (or part week) late: $25
Late submission of exercise or assignment: per Unit, per week (or part) late: $25
Late registration for an examination/late examination: per Unit per week late: $25
NOTE: The Faculty has the discretion to accept or not accept late enrolments, late assignment submission, or late registration for an examination, and to grant extensions of time without late penalty in exceptional circumstances; but students must bear in mind that all Faculty members, Tutors, and Examiners are busy people who must carefully schedule their commitments, and student lateness can cause them considerable inconvenience. Payment of Late Fees is on the honour system: to be sent by the student to the Office when due.
Late payment of Subject Fees: if not fully paid by due date, add to the fee due:
Payment (by arrangement) by three equal monthly instalments: add $25 per Unit
Payment of Subject Unit Fees up to one month late: $25 per Unit
Payment of Subject Unit Fees up to two months late: $45 per Unit
Payment of Subject Unit Fees more than two months late: $70 per Unit
