This Prospectus describes the College’s distinctive features and emphases:
The College offers a Course leading to the award of the Scholar in Theology certificate (Th.Schol.). Each Subject Unit of the Course has a value of 9 credit points, and the academic standard of the Course is that of a three-year university degree.
The Course comprises three Levels, each of which is equivalent to one year of fulltime tertiary study. A Certificate of Attainment (see below) is awarded upon the conclusion of each Level to those Candidates who satisfactorily complete the program of work as set out in this Prospectus. These Certificates are not accredited by any governmental instrumentality. .
1. Level One: Associate Certificate in Theology (A.C.Th.)More Information...
Enrolment requirements are set out on page 31 of this Prospectus. This work is the equivalent of one year’s full-time study. This award is made upon the satisfactory completion of Level One, comprising eight Subject Units, for 72 credit points, plus one Residential Unit.
2. Level Two: Licentiate in Theology Certificate (L.Th.) More Information...
Enrolment is open to persons who have gained the A.C.Th. through this College or (at the discretion of the Board) who have satisfactorily completed equivalent work at another recognized Theological or Bible College and who do such further work as may be required (details are set out in pages 33ff.). This work is the equivalent of a further one year’s full-time study. This award is made upon the satisfactory completion of Level Two, comprising eight Subject Units, for 72 credit points, plus one Residential Unit.
3. Level Three: Scholar in Theology Certificate (Th.Schol.)More Information...
Enrolment is open to persons who have gained the L.Th. certificate through this College or (at the discretion of the Board) who have satisfactorily completed equivalent work at another recognized Theological or Bible College and who do such further work as may be required (details are set out in pages 33ff.). This work is the equivalent of a further one year’s full-time study. This award is made upon the satisfactory completion of Level Three, comprising eight Subject Units, for 72 credit points, plus one Residential Unit, together with an exit thesis, in accordance with the Regulations. The amount and level of work required for the award of the Th.Schol. is identical with that needed for gaining a B.Th. in a classroom-based College.

Details of the Subject Units, core and elective Units, and other requirements for each award, are given in this Prospectus. The awards of the College are granted with Pass, Second Class Honours, or First Class Honours.
No exemptions are granted from the A.C.Th. Certificate program. Exemption can be granted by the College for up to 50% of the Subject Units in the L.Th. and the Th.Schol. programs on the basis of equivalent work completed at a satisfactory standard with another recognized Bible or Theological College. Tyndale College has a co-operative relationship with the Central School of Religion, London, from whom qualified Tyndale students receive their Certificate.
